Description

Are you looking for a rewarding career providing support to adults with learning disabilities? If so then Azure Charitable Enterprises are an established support provider that is committed to enhancing the lives of those we support in all aspects of daily living.

We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed staff to work in our supported living schemes within Hexham and Prudhoe.

Successful applicants will join the well established teams to enhance the lives of the clients. The schemes are staffed 24/7, this includes provision of a sleep in service; these hours are paid by the hour in addition to your contracted salary. Working hours are rota based which are issued a minimum of six weeks in advance.

There are both full time (39 hrs) and part time vacancies available; we also welcome applications from those who feel working weekends only would fit into their lifestyle or wish to join our casual bank of staff. While experience is preferred it is not essential as Azure will facilitate candidates new to care in the completion of the Care Certificate. Azure will facilitate and fund candidates to undertake the Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

The closing date for applications is 14th March 2018

Interview date is 21st March 2018

As a company we offer 28 days annual leave increasing to 33 days (inclusive of 8 Bank Holidays), personal pension scheme, sick pay scheme and free life assurance.

Successful applicants will be subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure (cost met by Azure) and will be expected to complete the Care certificate if required and any additional training requirements to support our clients.

Male only / Female only posts are exempt for the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 SDA Ref S7(2)(B).
