Azure Nurseries was one of the founding departments of the Charity, with the early glasshouses built in 1986.
They were significantly extended to 5,000 square metres in 1995 and only just recently reduced to 3,750 square metres in 2017 when one block was transformed into warehousing for the Garden Centre.
The Nurseries has had a varied history which included growing poinsettias and strawberries to name a few but now the main focus is on growing bedding plants for the Garden Centre.
