Location

The Tynedale service offers a rural environment with good access to Carlisle and Newcastle, made up of a number of independent houses that nestle in the Tyne Valley; these are in Prudhoe, Corbridge, Hexham and the outlining villages.

Housing Support

This service is made up of a number of individual houses situated across the Tyndale and surrounding area ; rented from a variety of housing associations. Clients each hold their own tenancy agreement in either single or shared accommodation; with private bedrooms and access to communal areas in the latter.

Within this service a number of the houses are shared tenancies with vacancies occurring when someone opts to move on. Within these shared households clients have private bedrooms and access to communal areas.

Local Activities

Tynedale has numerous places of interest, a range of exciting and stimulating outdoor activities and pursuits including: cinema, theatre, sports centres and state of the art swimming pools.

The Staff

Tynedale staff provide a tailored supported living service developed to ensure that all individual needs are met. Staff are committed to promoting independence and choice, in a safe environment with ongoing support to do various everyday tasks such as; shopping, household tasks or organising nights out and holidays.

Staff are available on a flexible basis to meet the needs of the client, this can range from a few hours a day through to a twenty four hour service.
